Join us as we commemorate the events of April 8th, 1865, and the oft-overlooked Battle of Appomattox Station, which saw courageous Federal Cavalrymen square off against determined Confederate artillerymen in the waning hours of the War in Virginia. For two nights, Friday and Saturday, October 24th and 25th, 2025, 6-8pm, APPS invites guests to step back in time as they are led on a torchlit evening tour of the Appomattox Station Battlefield.  As the sun sets and the woodsmoke rises, guests will be transported back to April 1865 as living historians recount some of the stories of the battle, experiencing tales of duty, heartache, triumph, and defeat. Tickets will be available at the gate for purchase!
